Brandon Sullivan

Brandon Sullivan is a Meteorology graduate from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. Brandon is an avid chaser and has been such for nearly 9 years. Growing up in western Illinois, his love for the plains was born on May 22nd, 2008 when he chased multiple tornadoes in Kansas.

Brandon’s work in the weather field has included internships at the NOAA/NWS Storm Prediction Center and three years of volunteer experience at various National Weather Service offices. In addition, Brandon served as a data analyst with the Atmospheric Radiation Management program, where he studied data gathered from various instruments across the world. Brandon’s research has included lightning signatures in tornadic supercells, which lead to a discovery of unique lightning characteristics in tornadic supercells. Brandon has been the recipient of numerous, national level collegiate forecasting awards and received an award for excellence in forecasting, from the University of Oklahoma in 2014.

Brandon is a partner Tornado Titans Storm Chasing. Brokering his video through the Breaking News Video Network, Brandon and his tornado footage have appeared on every major news network in America, as well as numerous overseas broadcast companies.

Currently, Brandon lives in Norman, OK where he owns a weather consulting company, Hazard Notifications, LLC.
